National Liner's 3S Segment Panel Systems
In many cases trenchless infrastructure rehabilitation methods for average-sized sewer pipelines are now the preferred
choice over traditional "dig and replace" methodology.
However, larger diameter storm drains and culverts (40" and up) present more challenges. Their shear size makes them more
difficult and expensive to repair. And, many of the available technologies for this size range have proven to be less than reliable.
The 3S Segment Panel System just might be the solution to your larger diameter pipe and culvert rehabilitation problems.
A Brief Description
The 3S Segment Panel System is made up of series of molded, translucent PVC panels; that when assembled...
form a new pipe or culvert within the existing damaged structure. Like most other hard liner rehabilitation methods,
structural grout is used to fill the annular space between the new 3S Segment Panel Pipe and its host for stability
and structural reinforcement. Its see-through walls allow you to monitor the grouting process to ensure a quality
installation every time.
Available Sizes for Circular Pipe and Culvert
Rehabilitation:
Circular Pipe: 40"-160"
Culvert: 40" x 40" - 200" x 200"
Translucent curved panels are assembled into rings to form a new pipe inside the damaged pipe. A structural grout
(shown here in brown) is injected into the annular space between the old pipe and the new 3S Segment Panel Pipe.

How it Works:
Each translucent panel is slightly curved.
The 3 lb. panels are handed down through an existing manhole.
Panel sections are then assembled into a series of rings.
The rings are joined using uni-chrome steel screw rods, to form a new pipe to any desired length.
Structural grout is injected into the annular space between the old pipe and the new 3S Segment Panel Pipe.
The new 3S Pipe is ready for decades of corrosion and maintenance free service.
